They build for leading universities, hotels, hospitals, commercial developers, financial institutions, and corporations.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager. The Senior Project Manager – Mechanical is responsible for oversight of mechanical construction projects from start to start to finish, on time and on budget.

This position is bonus eligible.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage budgets, schedules, and forecasts.
  • Lead teams, including administrative assistants, project engineers, assistant project managers, field staff, and subcontractors as necessary to ensure operational and financial performance.
  • Prepare for and participate in monthly project reviews with CEO, President, CFO, VP HVAC, Controller, to evaluate job performance, assess risks and develop action plans.
  • Be the main point of contact for clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
Qualifications

Position Requirements/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related subject (or equivalent field/industry experience).
  • 8-10 years professional experience including progressive management positions in the Mechanical contracting industry.
  • Familiarity with construction contract language.
  • Familiarity with construction means and methods.
  • Understanding of principles, methods, and techniques of plumbing/mechanical, architectural, civil, and electrical engineering.
  • Evaluate proposals from vendors and/or subcontractors for compliance with scope of work.

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Microsoft Office expertise, including Excel skills; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project a plus.
