Position Summary
The Pricing & Costing Analyst is responsible for determining the appropriate pricing, including rebates, for company products based on a contractual terms with various customers.
Essential Functions/Key Deliverables
• Perform monthly customer pricing and rebates updates.
• Perform monthly customer price adjustment accruals and generation of invoices or credit and debit memos.
• Perform daily quotation or pricing for Commercial team.
• Perform monthly rebate, ITS, PPI, freight etc. calculation and settlement with customers on a periodic basis.
• Perform general cost accounting and other related duties for the organization.
• Perform data discovery, analysis and price modeling.
• Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders.
• Assist FP&A side of business with monthly reporting.
• Assist with annual budgeting activities.
• Prepare pricing forecast for all customers and utilize in strategic planning
• Develop and maintain reporting tools.
• Analyze process issues and bottlenecks to make improvements.
• Perform any other duty reasonably corresponding with the role.
• Manage ASC 606 Process including calculation and key stake holder Audit compliance
• Establish ASC 606 internal controls and audit quarterly
• Perform Cost Settlement sales related accounting for month end close
• Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations monthly to ensure accurate financials
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• MBA in finance is considered a plus but not required.
• Four or more years of Accounting / Finance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, ability to draw conclusions from data and communicate it clearly.
• High level of proficiency with MS Excel required.
• Strong critical-thinking skills with a solution-oriented mindset. Ability to prioritize work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy and organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of SAP a plus.
• Ability to function both independently and as part of a team
