Position Summary:


The Financial Analyst is responsible for using financial and operational data to deliver timely and accurate business information to IPM’s internal and external stakeholders. The Financial Analyst will work with business leaders across the company to build IPM’s business intelligence and financial analysis capabilities and support data-driven decision making. This is a hands-on position, high-visibility position that reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.


We are seeking candidates who are local to the area, as this role requires full-time onsite attendance and is not eligible for remote work.

Requirements:

Essential job duties include:

  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly operational reporting to senior management.
  • Develop and maintain Key Performance Metrics (KPIs) to measure business performance.
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting package for senior management and the board of directors.
  • Work closely with the CFO to develop the annual financial budget and periodic forecasts.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis as requested to support decision making.
  • Manage the company’s business intelligence and forecasting & reporting tools.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations to management and the board of directors.
  • Assist the monthly financial close process as needed.
  • Support mergers & acquisitions activities including due diligence, financial modeling, and integration.

Successful candidates should possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years relevant experience, such as management accounting, financial planning & analysis, audit, or consulting; a background in services or manufacturing is a plus
  • Very strong MS Excel proficiency, including financial modeling experience
  • Familiarity with ERP software platforms, general ledger, and HR information systems
  • Familiarity with business intelligence software (e.g., MS PowerBI) and Enterprise Performance Management software is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Analytical mindset and intellectual curiosity
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others and synthesize the results of your work for others
  • Ability and willingness to travel periodically to other business locations (travel anticipated to be < 20%)
