JOB SUMMARY
The Financial Analyst General Ledger is responsible for developing, maintaining, monitoring and management of comprehensive data systems. These systems are used to perform analysis and research studies as required by Senior Management. The position must also ensure data quality and integrity in these financial and decision support systems. The financial analyst is responsible for coordination of systems information to ensure that NCH is able to report on critical information and complete project assignments on a timely and accurate fashion. Additionally, the Financial Analyst must also collaborate with finance and other departments to ensure accurate financial information and support organizational goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Other duties may be assigned.
• Responsible for various misc. yearly reports.
• Prepare monthly journal entries.
• Variance analysis - complete monthly variance analysis of revenue and expense accounts, including reconciling balance sheet AR accounts.
• Assists in cash flow management (monitoring daily cash positions, post payments to general ledger, and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs).
• Assists in ad hoc projects/reports as required by management.
• Monitor multiple bank accounts to ensure liquidity.
• Assist in the month-end and variance analysis process to ensure that financial activities align with historical performance and organizational goals.
• Analyze financial data to aid in decision support activities.
• Develop financial modeling to aid in evaluation of operational activities or plans.
This is not a remote position. This position will report daily to the NCH Business Office in Naples, Florida.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience required; preferably in hospital/healthcare.
• Attention to detail needed
• Excellent analytical skills needed
• Knowledge of accounting system such as EPSI and Monarch
• Intermediate computer knowledge: Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
