Certified Pharmacy Technician - Night Shift | Lancaster, TX
Millbrook Support Services is seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our night shift team in Lancaster, TX. In this critical role, you'll work under the supervision of licensed pharmacists to ensure prescriptions are entered, verified, and processed with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately and efficiently enter prescription orders into the pharmacy system.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in prescription and patient data entry.
  • Ensure all prescription and patient information complies with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, and leadership to meet department goals and workflow deadlines.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to prescription processing and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide exceptional service and communication to internal teams and external partners.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold compliance standards when handling patient information.
Certifications
  • Active national pharmacy certification (e.g., PTCB or NHA).
  • Current registration with the State Board of Pharmacy (as required in Texas).
Technical & Clinical Skills
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy practices, medical terminology, and drug classifications.
  • Excellent computer literacy and data entry accuracy.
  • Proficiency with pharmacy systems, prescription processing, and documentation protocols.
Experience
  • Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmacy environment (mail order, hospital, retail, or long-term care).
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
