JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:


The Marketing Events Manager will manage and coordinate Beretta USA’s major tradeshows, shooting events and buy group shows. The manager will work directly with show contractors, exhibitors, and appropriate departments.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Trade Show and Events

  • Works with the Director of Marketing and Marketing Events Coordinator to develop the annual Tradeshows, Shooting Events and Buy Group calendar.
  • Manages the development of yearly modifications to buildings and events.
  • Manages contracts and payments associated with tradeshows, buy groups, and shooting events.
  • Responsible for orchestration of all internal and external show components to ensure successful and appropriate representation of brand and product.
  • Manages all onsite staff working various events, shows and shoots
  • Works with Regional Sales Directors to develop annual calendar of regional events and associated staff, product and budget needs.
  • Works with Channel and Product Marketing to develop annual calendar of events and associated staff, product and budget needs.
  • Collaborate with C&A staff when appropriate on merchandising plans within show/event space
  • Promote sales and create goodwill for Beretta products by interfacing with organizations and business partners as needed.
  • Manage, assist in development, and execution of Beretta USA’s shooting events and buy groups, ensuring delivery of company vision, strategies, and KPIs.
  • Develop and manage key internal and external agency partners.
  • Provides special assistance as needed to VIP guests, dignitaries, and Beretta family.
  • Audits required accounting processes, paperwork, and approvals to ensure timeliness and accuracy of budget management.
  • Provide on-site support and management at tradeshows and events.
  • Work with Marketing Coordinator in managing all aspects of building and space contracts at shooting venues, oversees branding, staffing for events, building use, open and close, etc…
  • Point of contact and manage relationships with registered organizations such as NSCA, NSSA and the ATA as well as conventions and growth organizations such as DV, BSA, 4H, NRA, and charity organizations such as Shoot For A Cure.
  • Work with Marketing team to integrate Beretta’s shooters into marketing initiatives during tradeshows, events, and shoots.
  • Mentor junior staff to include the Marketing Events Coordinator.

Budget Implementation and Reporting

  • Assist with managing department budget by working with finance and Director to ensure timely processing of requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Audits required accounting processes, paperwork and approvals to ensure timeliness and accuracy of budget management.
  • Works with Director to develop and run finance reports to ensure visibility into budget management.



WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Extensive travel to consumer events and weekend work; local and within the U.S.
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 15lbs.


QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES:

  • Ability to travel extensively and work weekends, when needed.
  • Ability to travel by plane required.
  • Ability to express complex ideas, prepare progress reports, create presentations decks, write proposals, compile events recaps and post-mortems.
  • Knowledge of principles of marketing.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Presentation abilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of organization.
  • Knowledge of firearms preferred.
  • Excellent oral communication skills: speak clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations.
  • Basic computer skills; word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail and internet.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


EXPERIENCE EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience required.
  • 6+ years of experience in event strategy, planning and logistics.
  • Computer proficiency with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint presentation.
  • Firearms knowledge.
  • Competitive shooting sports knowledge and experience.
  • Outdoor & hunting enthusiast preferred.
