Position Overview:

As an Assistant Property Manager , you will play a pivotal role in our vibrant real estate investment office. You will be responsible for executing contracts, managing lease obligations, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of commercial real estate shopping centers. This role offers an excellent opportunity to be exposed to all aspects of commercial real estate ownership, development, financing, management, and operations.


Key Responsibilities:

• Support and collaborate with the Senior Asset Manager & Director of Operations.

• Manage vendor and tenant relationships, including contract negotiation and compliance.

• Oversee property maintenance, repairs, and improvements.

• Monitor & control property management software, ensuring accurate data entry and record-keeping.

• Conduct site inspections, prepare reports, and assist in budget preparation.

• Address tenant queries and resolve service issues & complaints promptly.

• Participate in tenant lease renewals and track rental increases.

• Handle Accounts Receivables, general ledger reporting, and CAM Reconciliations.

• Travel required for site inspections (approximately 37%), or every 6 weeks.


Key Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial real estate, specifically shopping center management.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and property management software.

• Bachelor's degree (Required).

• Valid Driver's License (Required).

• Ability to commute / relocate to Middletown, NJ.
