| Work Environment | Support role within insurance companies or agencies, office-based | Client-facing, sales-focused, often in the field or office |
| Employer & Industry Usage | Insurance companies, brokers, agencies specializing in equine coverage | Insurance agencies, brokers selling equine insurance policies |
Assistant Equine Insurance roles generally support the insurance process with administrative tasks, while Equine Insurance Agents actively sell policies and advise clients. Both roles require insurance knowledge, but agents need licensing. The assistant role is more support-oriented, whereas agents are client-facing sales professionals.
