Job description

We are seeking an Environmental Compliance Manager to join the Kaiser Aluminum Warrick team in Newburgh, Indiana. Reporting to the Environmental Manager, the Environmental Compliance Manager will lead environmental professionals responsible for compliance across the Warrick facility. This role manages programs covering air, water, waste, soil, and groundwater and ensures compliance with applicable regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the compliance aspects of the Warrick site environmental program.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
  • Provide regulatory guidance and environmental support to plant operations.
  • Manage environmental requirements for capital projects and operational changes.
  • Work with regulatory agencies to secure permits and approvals and resolve compliance matters.
  • Maintain environmental records and prepare required agency reports.
  • Set performance standards and metrics for direct reports.
  • Maintain required training and certifications, including Method9, HAZWOPER, stormwater pollution prevention, and related programs.

Qualifications
