JOB SUMMARY

The Engineering Manager is responsible for the maintenance, repair, or replacement of plant equipment and systems while ensuring maximum productivity, quality, and employee safety



Essential Functions

Essential Function

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Troubleshooting and repair equipment, utilizing prints, schematics, and knowledge of electricity, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Supervises and trains maintenance technicians on proper repair and use of equipment.
  • Coordinates with other departments, the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and start-up of equipment to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Initiates projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.
  • Initiates, implements, and manages the plant maintenance program based on best practices in the Semiconductor Specialty Gas industry, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventative/predictive maintenance.
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance procedures for equipment and auxiliary equipment.
  • Works to provide a safe and clean work environment for employees.
  • Maintain building safety and appearance including utilities, ventilation, and plumbing including waste and process plumbing.
  • Assist in maintenance record keeping and documentation.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
