Based in New York City, our firm is made of engineers, technologists, environmental scientists, construction professionals, and consultants who are passionate about improving the infrastructure, buildings, and communities that surround us.
About the Role:
EnTech Engineering is seeking Trainee Construction Inspector to support construction inspection activities on highway, roadway, and bridge infrastructure projects throughout NYC. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to begin a career in construction inspection while working alongside experienced inspectors in the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Work under the supervision of a Construction Inspector on active infrastructure projects.
  • Assist with inspections of highways, roadways, and bridges.
  • Observe construction activities and help document field work.
  • Learn inspection procedures, safety requirements, and project documentation.
  • Travel to project sites throughout NYC as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of at least one year of college coursework in Mathematics, Architecture, Architectural Technology, Environmental Technology, Landscape Architecture, Surveying, Physics, Geology, Forestry, or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to drive to project sites.
  • Strong interest in construction inspection and infrastructure projects.

Estimated Hourly Compensation:

  • Without NICET Level I Certification: $28.00-$35.00/hour

  • With NICET Level I Certification: $34.00-$39.00/hour
