REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand, protect and promote our empathetic, people-focused culture in all aspects of the business
- Understand and implement complex technical requirements for client projects to meet client satisfaction and ensure projects are delivered safely and within scope, schedule and budget
- Lead drilling oversight; groundwater, soil and rock sampling; and groundwater monitoring efforts on site. Conduct field studies and surveys to collect soil/groundwater samples and data
- Prepare and review geological maps, cross-sections, and detailed technical reports. Ensure quality, timeliness, and regulatory compliance of deliverables
- Assist with preparing regulatory submittals, such as permit applications and plans
- Oversee several small projects and occasionally lead larger, multidisciplinary ones. Assist in developing project strategy, scope, and budgets
- Serve as a secondary client contact and support relationship development. Present findings and recommendations to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies
- Oversee and mentor junior staff, coordinate project team activities, and ensure team safety in the field through Health and Safety Plans (HASP)
- Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and industry standards. Monitor and assess geological hazards
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology or related discipline
- Tennessee Professional Geologist (PG) registration
- At least 3-7 years of applicable experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to conduct fieldwork with some heavy lifting
- Proficient with MS. Office suite of products
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training is a plus
- Previous consulting experience preferred
