Located in Virginia Beach, VA, our studio is committed to utilizing the latest dental technology and techniques to ensure our patients receive the highest quality treatment. We value teamwork, professionalism, and continuous learning, and we are excited to welcome a motivated Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team.
We are seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to support our dentists and ensure a smooth, pleasant experience for our patients. This position involves chairside assisting, infection control, taking dental impressions, and performing medical imaging. While prior experience is preferred, we’re willing to train the right candidate who is eager to grow their skills in a supportive environment. This role requires X-Ray certification and CPR certification.

Provide efficient chairside assistance during dental procedures
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control standards
Take and develop dental X-rays (must have X-Ray certification)
Perform dental impressions and assist with medical imaging as needed
Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Educate and comfort patients before, during, and after treatments
Sterilize instruments and manage inventory of dental supplies
Collaborate with dentists and team members to deliver outstanding patient care

Salary Range

Full-time $34,400 - $44,300 per year

Shift & Schedule

Hours: Tuesday through Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
No Weekends or Mondays (Office closed)

Requirements
  • Basic life support
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • Infection Control License
  • X-ray / Radiography Certification

X-Ray Certification required
CPR Certification required
Knowledge of infection control and aseptic techniques
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical imaging
Ability to perform dental impressions accurately
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
