Job description

Job DescriptionOverview

We are seeking a Waste Management Technical Assistant Energy, to join our team in Idaho Falls, ID.

Your role
  • Provides technical and administrative support to the Waste Management organization using standard office equipment, corporate systems, processes, policies and procedures.

  • Performs accounting, financial duties, record keeping, technical research, and waste data tracking.

  • Prepares purchase orders.

  • Prepares invoices.

  • Performs research of waste disposition options and vendors.

  • Assists in the tracking and documentation of waste inventories and disposition.

  • Enters and retrieves waste characterization data in various databases.

  • Creates databases and spreadsheets as required.

  • Assists management in the tracking and trending a various project metrics (safety, quality, training).

  • Responsible forconfidential and time sensitive material.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

About you
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • College or technical education desired.

  • Technical work experience or education.

  • Project or Record Controls a plus.

  • Strong multitasking skills.

  • Strong time management skills.

  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize workload.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen in order to be considered.
