Job description

About Mr. Level

Our profession is fixing foundations, lifting concrete, and keeping buildings stable. From seawalls to basements , we deliver practical, long-term solutions across residential and commercial projects. The work isn’t flashy, it’s underground, but it matters - a lot. A foundation sets the tone for everything above it, and because foundation problems are often hidden, we take pride in finding the real problem, explaining it clearly, and doing the job right so people can trust what they can’t see.

How You’ll Contribute

We’re looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to lead small field crews and operate machinery on residential and commercial foundation repair projects. This is a hands-on role for someone who’s comfortable running excavators, skid steers (Bobcats), and other construction equipment while helping crews complete safe, efficient work in the field.

You’ll be a key person on-site — operating machinery, managing daily job tasks, and ensuring every project meets quality and safety standards.

What You'll Get To Do

  • Operate excavators, skid steers/Bobcats, and related heavy equipment safely and efficiently

  • Lead and work alongside a 2–3 person field crew

  • Perform excavation and site prep for foundation repair projects

  • Assist with installation and repair work as needed

  • Maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards on every job

What You Bring

  • You’ve been in construction long enough to be confident in your judgment and can work through problems independently.
  • Good enough is not good enough. You take pride in doing work you’d put your name on, not just something that passes for done.
  • You've led teams and know this trade only stays strong if the next generation learns it right. You coach, explain, and set the kind of example that makes people want to stick around and keep getting better.
  • You are capable of driving a truck/trailer, and running heavy machinery.
  • You are willing to work in all conditions.
  • You're able to meet insurance standards based on your driving record and background check to drive company vehicles.
  • You have a valid driver's license and are authorized to work in the US.

HUGE PLUS ( but not required)

  • Experience in foundation repair or concrete pouring and leveling
  • Experience with Helical Piers

What’s In It For You

Pay & Growth

  • Clear pay structure with advancement opportunities as crews expand

Paid Time Off

  • PTO starts accruing right away and can be used after your first month
  • 7 paid holidays

Health & Insurance

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting the first of the month after 60 days of full-time employment
  • Company covers 50% of the employee's premium
  • $25,000 life insurance policy for the duration of employment

Retirement

  • 401K eligibility after six months
  • Company matches 100% of your first 1% and 50% of your next 5%
