Job description

Eaton's FFD Fluid Filtration Division division is currently seeking a Machine Operator - 2nd Shift onsite at our Williamsport, MD facility. The hourly rate for this position is $19.00 + $.35 shift differential per hour. The hours for second shift are as follows; 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you'll do: Start up and operate plastic extrusion manufacturing equipment Manufacture products ranging from custom plastic extrusions to ZipMate zippers Set up jobs utilizing the proper installation of dies, adapters, breaker plates, and screen packs Inspect final products to ensure compliance with Eaton's quality standards Ensure continuous and efficient production by preparing the extruder and downstream equipment for the next job in line Clean screw installation and maintain an organized workspace surrounding the equipment All manufacturing employees at Williamsport are also responsible for: Complying with all Environment, Health, & Safety (EHS) standards Complying with all work and process instructions Identifying improvement opportunities Utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each task associated with the job Working safely and reporting all near misses, illnesses, and injuries following established procedures. Completing any initial or recurring training issued by the site or Eaton Qualifications: Required Qualifications: A minimum one (1) year of experience in machine operation Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.

Only candidates residing within the immediate area of Williamsport, MD (50 miles) will be considered for this position.
