What does an Assistant EHS Manager do?

An Assistant EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Manager supports the development, implementation, and monitoring of workplace safety and environmental programs. They help ensure that organizations comply with all relevant laws and regulations, conduct safety audits, investigate incidents, and provide training to employees. Their role is crucial in promoting a safe and healthy work environment, reducing environmental impact, and preventing workplace injuries or accidents.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Assistant EHS Manager?

To thrive as an Assistant EHS Manager, you typically need a background in environmental health and safety, knowledge of regulatory compliance, and a relevant degree such as in environmental science or engineering.
