Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified EEG Technician with experience in inpatient and outpatient settings, including ICU and ER environments. This role requires a strong background in EEG procedures and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform EEG assessments and procedures in various clinical settings.
  • Assist with monitoring and documenting patient conditions during procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Respond to emergency situations in accordance with hospital protocols.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot EEG equipment as necessary.
Requirements
  • Certification: R.EEGT.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in EEG services.
  • Skills: Proficiency in adult inpatient and outpatient EEG, ambulatory EEG, long-term monitoring, and various evoked potential studies.
  • Charting System Experience: Familiarity with Epic preferred.
Shift Details
Shifts are Monday through Friday, with two available time slots: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM. On-call responsibilities may vary.
