Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Emergency Department team at Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time night shift opportunity.

The Pediatric ED provides specialized emergency care for infants, children, and adolescents. This role is ideal for nurses passionate about pediatric care in a fast-paced, family-centered environment.

Registered Nurse Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide emergency care to pediatric patients
  • Educate families on diagnosis and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with pediatric specialists and care teams
  • Coordinate care with ancillary services
  • Serve as a patient and family advocate
Registered Nurse Experience:
  • 3–5 years Clinical Experience (required)
  • 1 year Emergency Nursing Experience (required)
Registered Nurse Education & Credential Requirements:
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (required)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) (required)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (required)
  • TNCC, NRP, ENPC (required)

Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses. Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care.
