Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist for a 26-week assignment requiring 3 years of Echo Tech experience and RDCS or CCI certification.

Details
  • Work in the echocardiography department of a hospital setting
  • Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
  • Rotational weekend shifts required
  • Holiday shifts negotiable
  • Perform routine and complex echocardiographic sonography imaging procedures
  • Assist performing physicians and sonographers with echocardiographic exams
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • 26-week assignment
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years Echo Tech experience
  • Associate's Degree in Ultrasound required
  • RDCS (ARDMS) or CCI certification required
  • BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
  • License required if applicable
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Level 1 Trauma experience required
  • Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks while coordinating patient flow
  • Strong documentation skills required
Additional Information
  • Oversee technical procedures, patient care, and workflows within the echocardiography lab
  • Critique imaging quality by reviewing positioning, technical factors, and alignment
  • Review patient data for accuracy, quality, and completeness
  • Cross-train to other divisions within Cardiovascular Services
  • Must maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate willingness to assess and improve the work environment
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
  • RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract period
  • Contingent workers may not be continuously on assignment for more than 1 year at this facility without a 6-month break in service
