Job description

We are seeking a Dog Bather/Finisher to join our team! You will be responsible for the overall care and well-being of the animals at our facility. Hourly pay will start at $17.50+ DOE and tips.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle general care tasks such as bathing, drying, brushing of the animals
  • Assist in handling animals for nail trimmings, ear cleaning and grooming
  • Keep records of animal behaviors or special needs
  • Engage in the care of the pet during its stay at the salon
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized environment and work area

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of legitimate experience bathing dogs
  • Passion to help and care for animals
  • Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Good communication skills
