Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant who has experience working with children, particularly in performing prophylaxis (prophies) and placing sealants. The ideal candidate will also have experience with Invisalign, including scanning and placing attachments, and be adept at assisting the doctor in various procedures such as oral surgery (OS), restorative work, and crowns and bridges (C&B).
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in providing dental care to patients, particularly children, by performing prophies, placing sealants, and ensuring a positive and comfortable experience.
Support the doctor during oral surgery, restorative procedures, and crowns and bridges.
Conduct Invisalign scans, place attachments, and provide ongoing support to patients throughout their Invisalign treatment.
Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments and materials are ready for procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Sterilize and organize dental instruments and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
Communicate effectively with patients, parents, and the dental team to ensure seamless care delivery.

Salary Range

Part-time $23 - $27 per hour

Salary is determined by experience and abilities.

Shift & Schedule

M-F from 8-12 and 1-5, one rolling day off during the 2-week pay period.

Requirements

2 years minimum of dental assisting.

Preferences
  • CEREC

Knowledge and previous use of CEREC is a plus.
Team player that can help the office and two existing assistants.
