Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and seat guests while managing reservations to ensure an efficient dining flow
  • Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries professionally
  • Coordinate and organize reservations, group seating, and special requests
  • Monitor dining room activity, identify newly seated guests, and notify servers promptly
  • Maintain a fast-paced, high-energy work style while delivering excellent guest service
  • Assist service staff by delivering food and beverages accurately and promptly
  • Expedite food orders by organizing and building tickets on the kitchen line
  • Fill and refill guest water glasses to ensure attentive service
  • Pre-bus tables by removing plates, glassware, and unnecessary items throughout the meal
  • Clean and reset tables quickly after guest departure, ensuring readiness for the next party
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and provide attentive service throughout the dining experience
  • Prepare and reset tables, ensuring cleanliness and proper setup standards
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and dietary restrictions
  • Support team members across departments to enhance overall service quality
  • Complete opening, closing, and side work duties
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of dining and service areas
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report maintenance needs
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and service standards
  • Handle to-go orders and assist with guest requests as needed

Requirements:

Physical Requirements
The minimum physical requirements for this position include but are not limited to:
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds frequently to assist guests
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff, vendors, and guests a normal in-person and phone conversation
  • Ability to bend and twist, push, and pull, stoop, and kneel
  • Ascend and descend a ladder
