Job description

As Merchandising Assistant, you will support the LE Outfitters merchandising team in all aspects of product development and product merchandising. You are responsible for accurate and timely data input into various tools such as IPLM, Excel etc. You will schedule, set up, and prepare materials for key presentations as well as attend and participate in team meetings. You will work cross functionally with Design, Creative, Global Sourcing, Inventory Planning, Technical Design, Internet, & LEO Sales to support the business in delivering profitable results. Additional responsibilities and projects when assigned.
Job Functions (Employees must be able to perform the job functions of this position satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the duties, knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.   • Partner with merchant team and provide support in all aspects of product development and product merchandising to assist in the execution of category strategies.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely data input (i.e. PC creation) into various tools such as IPLM, Excel, RMS, APIP, ILE, BPT.
  • Maintain key systems which are utilized daily by the team during the product life cycle.
  • Assist with weekly, omni, and milestone meetings by managing samples and providing reports.
  • Work cross-functionally with Design, Creative, Global Sourcing, Tech Design, Inventory Planning, Retail, Internet, Digital Merchandising, LEO Sales and Web teams to assist in delivering category strategies.
  • Coordinate with Global Sourcing to order photo samples and C2 or line adoption samples.
  • Responsible for tracking and organizing category samples each season. Work closely with Design and Digital merchandise managing sample requests including photo samples.
  • Proof catalog and internet pages to ensure the accuracy of category assortment. Request suggested alternates, stop sales and product alerts.
  • Prepare audit reports by pulling IPLM data. Audit data against key systems such as BPT, Buy Sheets, AP, etc. to maintain accuracy.
  • Audit reports sent by Business Intelligence team.
  • Support visual set ups and presentations adequately conveying the design and merchandising vision.
  • Ad hoc projects as assigned by the team.
  • Must follow all safe work practices, escalate unsafe conditions and report incidents

Education & Experience Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Experience working in Office environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Merchandising or equivalent experience, a plus not a requirement.
  • 1 year of experience in Retail or Merchandising a plus, not a requirement.
  • Experience with Lands' End systems a plus.

This is a hybrid role with three weeks per month onsite in Dodgeville, WI (Monday - Thursday, Friday is remote). The fourth week is fully remote.
