Job description


Huntington has built its tutoring methods on scientifically based instructional methods coupled with more than 40 years of experience tutoring thousands of K-12 students. Huntington Learning Center in Plymouth, a very competitive and nationally recognized center, is seeking a full-time Assistant Director.

Responsibilities
This is an educational, administrative, and customer-facing role involving phone and email communication with clients and employees. Responsibilities also include:

  • Provide individualized instruction in the areas of reading and basic math
  • Supervision and management of teaching staff and students
  • Scheduling
  • Preparing billing statements
  • Marketing student services internally and outside the Center
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Assisting parents with questions and concerns

Requirements

  • 4-year degree
  • Enthusiastic, outgoing, and team oriented personality
  • Passion and desire to work with students and families
  • Professional and polished demeanor
  • Strong organizational/administrative skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Experience with customer service a plus
  • Experience in education a plus

Weekly Schedule
Monday through Thursday 9:30-8:30 with one Saturday per month 8 am-2:00 pm (40 hours per week with the Saturday week being adjusted accordingly) Schedule open to negotiation.
