Job description

Assistant Director of Recruiting Programs

Boston College is seeking an energetic and dedicated Assistant Director of Recruiting Programs to join the Career Center team. Reporting to the Associate Director of Employer Engagement, the Assistant Director serves as the operational anchor of the Employer Engagement team, managing the recruiting function and day-to-day systems and workflows that deliver consistent, welcoming experiences for employers, students, and campus partners.

The Assistant Director's operational leadership includes ensuring employers receive thoughtful and timely customer service throughout their engagement lifecycle including virtual and in-person info sessions, interviews, and coffee chats. This position also centralizes and streamlines logistics for career fairs and networking events (in partnership with BC Event Management) and oversees the employer recruiting function by providing hands-on coordination, direction, and assistance to staff and students assisting employers in setting up interview and coffee chat schedules, ensuring these events run smoothly and efficiently.

As a power user of the career management platforms (including Handshake), the Assistant Director serves as the lead for employer engagement data management and reporting; provides guidance to employer engagement staff on tracking and maintaining accurate information, and compiling and presenting reports that provide actionable, data-driven insights.

To make this work possible, the incumbent prioritizes process development and thoughtful coordination of work and delegation and training to administrative staff members, including the Recruiting Program & Career Services Assistant, along with temporary and student workers, to ensure the employer recruiting function runs smoothly.

Each staff member in the Division of Student Affairs is expected to support division and university-wide initiatives, staff events, and serve on committees as needed.
Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: 67,350 to 84,200; salary commensurate with relevant experience.

To be considered, please apply with a resume and cover letter.
