Job description

Job Title: Clinical Director - Behavioral Health
Location: Milford, VA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Flexibility for occasional evenings, weekends, on-call responsibilities, and limited travel as needed.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Director to lead and oversee behavioral health services within a residential treatment setting. This leadership role is responsible for supervising clinical staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving program development and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.

  • Active Virginia license as LPC, LCSW, Psychologist, or Psychiatrist.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Clinical Director in a Residential Treatment Center (RTC).

  • Minimum 3 years of experience treating Substance Use Disorders (SUD).

  • Experience with clinical supervision, program management, and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Knowledge of EHR systems and Microsoft Office.

  • Current CPR/First Aid certification, valid driver's license, and ability to pass background screening.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, supervision, and mentorship to the clinical team.

  • Oversee daily clinical operations and ensure delivery of evidence-based care.

  • Manage complex clinical cases and maintain a small clinical caseload as needed.
