Job Description

Advanced Restorative Care: Assist the dentist during exams and independently complete high-quality restorations, including fillings and crowns.
Patient Advocacy: Welcome patients, discuss treatment plans, and answer clinical inquiries to ensure total comfort and clarity.
Clinical Support: Capture necessary X-rays, monitor vital signs, and accurately record medical/dental histories.
Operatory Management: Prepare and turn over treatment rooms following strict OSHA and safety protocols; efficiently sterilize all instruments.
Team Collaboration: Participate in daily 7:15 AM huddles to coordinate seamless patient care for the day.

Salary Range

Full-time $24 - $28 per hour

Requirements
  • Experienced Dental Assistant (2+ years)

Certification: Must have a valid EFDA Certification and an active Indiana Radiography License.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an EFDA is ideal.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in coronal polishing, fluoride application, and digital data entry.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with a "patient-first" mentality.
Compliance: Strong knowledge of dental sterilization and occupational safety regulations.
