Job description

 Job title- Diesel Mechanic 

Location- Tulsa, OK
Available Shifts:

  • AM Shift: 4:00 AM – 1:00 PM

  • PM Shift: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Salary-$30,000 annually

Reports To: Maintenance Manager

As a Diesel Truck/Trailer Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on tractor and trailer equipment. This includes completing work orders with accurate coding—such as reason for repair, detailed condition, cause, and correction—and properly handling warranty documentation. Safety, accuracy, and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.


Duties and Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fleet equipment safely and accurately

  • Conduct failure analysis, rebuild and repair equipment components

  • Identify and report housekeeping issues, unsafe conditions, or unsafe practices and recommend corrective actions

  • Report broken tools or missing supplies and assist in resolving the issue

  • Complete complex work orders with correct condition, cause, and correction details, including warranty return tags

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment

  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards

  • Perform additional duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid state-issued CDL driver's license

  • Experience in tractor/trailer inspection and repair OR a technical school degree/certification in Heavy Duty Truck/Trailer Maintenance (Diesel specialty preferred)

  • Experience with advanced diagnostics
