Aspire Senior Living Pleasant Hill is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Full-Time Assistant Director of Nursing to join our leadership team. As the RN Assistant Director of Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily clinical operations of our facility, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and compliance with all regulatory standards.

The RN Assistant Director of Nursing collaborates closely with the Director of Nursing and other key staff to foster a positive work environment, support nursing staff, and enhance patient outcomes.


RN Assistant Director of Nursing Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and overseeing nursing services.

  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to nursing staff to ensure professional growth and high morale.

  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care and implement improvement plans as needed.

  • Oversee staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage.

  • Conduct rounds to assess patient conditions and ensure proper nursing interventions.

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as facility policies.

  • Assist in preparing for and participating in audits, inspections, and surveys.

  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff competencies.

  • Facilitate continuing education and professional development opportunities for nursing staff.

Assistant Director of Nursing Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) nursing license in Missouri.
