The Social Designer is an integral member of the Creative Team, responsible for developing compelling, brand-right content for organic social media, with an additional responsibility for paid social advertising and broader digital creative needs. Creates compelling visual content and ensures all marketing assets are
delivered accurately and on time.
This is an onsite role, in Southern Tide's Greenville, SC office.

Crew Position:

Social Content Creation & Graphic Design-
Serve as a key creative resource for organic social, developing engaging, platform-native content thatbrings the brand, product stories, campaigns, and cultural moments to life.
Concept, design, and produce paid and organic social content across platforms and formats, includingstatic posts, carousels, Stories, Reels, short-form video, animations, and other emerging socialformats.
Edit video for social, including selecting clips, pacing, transitions, music/audio, text overlays, graphics,and other elements that increase engagement and strengthen storytelling.
Repurpose and reimagine existing campaign and brand assets into fresh social content whilemaintaining the integrity of the original creative
Partner with social stakeholders to help develop and execute the organic social content strategy andcalendar.
Use social performance insights and learnings to help inform future creative concepts and evolve thebrand's organic social approach.

Create other digital content as needed including digital ads, banners, line books, and other materialsguided by brand standards.

Creative & Asset Management
Maintain strong graphic design standards while working quickly and efficiently within the pace of socialmedia.
Stay knowledgeable about all product styles and features to effectively communicate marketingmessages.
Collaborate with eCommerce, Product and Marketing to understand key product stories, styles, andbusiness-driving looks.
Support the social content calendar by ensuring creative deliverables are developed, reviewed,approved, and available for timely activation.
Ensure all designs and social content align with brand standards while continuing to explore fresh,relevant ways for the brand to show up socially.
Support broader Creative Team needs, including digital marketing assets, presentations, campaignextensions, retail marketing, sales materials, and other graphic design projects as needed.
Retouch (masking, color changes, shadow work, etc.), edit, and process digital images for use acrossprint and digital platforms, maintaining accuracy and efficiency throughout the postproduction workflowwhen needed.
Organize, manage, and archive digital assets, tracking through the workflow process and maintainingstrategic naming conventions.
Providing general support to the marketing team and related projects including tradeshows,photoshoot preparation, retail marketing, and sales meetings.
