Compensation
  • Base pay starting between $90,000 and $100,000 per year

Job Duties

Oversee the demand planning, purchasing, and inventory management of product. Lead a team of strategic analysts to collaborate with merchants and supply chain to drive business growth and profit.

Essential (Primary) Functions:

  • Lead Analyst team to ensure efficient use of systems, best practices, and progress toward goals. Foster a culture of high performance, focusing on engagement, accountability, collaboration, and strategic decision-making.
  • Deliver planned sales, margin, and turnover goals.
  • Develop best practices to ensure efficient operation of freight from supplier to DC and stores. Collaborate with supply chain to provide inventory forecast and efficiency.
  • Set and monitor team goals to continuously improve product availability. Leverage replenishment system and monthly forecast reviews with key vendors to ensure fill rates drive anticipated sales & margin.
  • Collaborate with Buyers and Divisional Merchandise Managers to build strategic entrance & exit strategies for key seasonal businesses.
  • Manage allocations of key seasonal businesses.
  • Develop baseline inventory levels to support in-stock goals.
  • Prepare inventory projections to support monthly forecast reviews.
  • Demonstrate awareness and compliance with Loss Prevention and safety policies and/or procedures.

Associated Functions:

  • Attend product knowledge seminars as assigned.
  • Attend Grand Opening events and assist as appropriate.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Prefer bachelor’s degree in related field or 5+ years related retail or supply chain experience.
  • Prefer 1-3 years similar analytical field.
