Job description

Job Title

Operate a class 8 tractor-trailer providing safe, timely, and accurate route deliveries to store locations as part of our company fleet.

Home daily, 5 day work week, no weekends. Salary package includes safety incentives, driver bonuses and performance-based raises. Overnight route delivery with dedicated routes. Low touch freight using full pallet deliveries. Modern fleet of tractors and trailers.

Essential Job Functions

Operate a commercial Class 8 tractor-trailer to complete safe, timely, and accurate route deliveries in compliance with DOT and company regulations.

Utilize electric pallet jacks and lift gates to load, unload, and deliver merchandise to designated store locations.

Follow assigned routes, stops, and schedules to ensure efficient deliveries within set timeframes.

Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain Hours of Service (HOS) logs, and comply with FMCSA regulations.

Secure all loads, vehicle doors, and alarms before and after each stop; ensure proper delivery verification and manage returned merchandise.

Assist with various delivery routes as needed to support operational requirements.

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

Required:

Working knowledge of DOT regulations, logbook, and vehicle inspections

Maintain a clean MVR and a valid DOT physical status. Must pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol tests. Must possess a current Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement. Must maintain the ability to work flexible hours.
