Location: SFO, CA//Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Duration: 6+ months

 

Job Description:

We We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to partner with Data Engineering, Analytics, and business stakeholders to drive data product initiatives. This role will focus on defining requirements, managing project execution, and ensuring dashboards and data solutions align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage data product initiatives in partnership with Data Engineering and business teams.
  • Develop a strong understanding of data models, data pipelines, and dashboard/reporting environments.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into clear user stories and product requirements.
  • Use Linear (or similar project tracking tools) for sprint planning, prioritization, and delivery tracking.
  • Build and maintain project plans, track milestones, risks, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive execution and communicate project updates.
  • Oversee dashboard maintenance and enhancements to ensure reporting accuracy and business alignment.
  • Support roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, and end-to-end delivery of data-focused products.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, preferably with data or analytics products.
  • Technical expertise in data stacks including Snowflake, Databricks, and Redshift
  • Strong understanding of data models, dashboards/reporting, and Data Engineering workflows.
  • Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs.
  • Hands-on experience with Linear, Jira, or similar project management tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and drive execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with Analytics/Data teams is highly preferred.
