Job description

Office Assistant – Data Entry

Data entry assistants are vital to TCAP’s operations and maintaining accurate database logs. They assist the administrative and veterinary care teams by inputting records, locating duplicate accounts, and updating client and patient profiles in TCAP’s extensive database. The data entry position is based at our main office in Denton, no remote work.

Part time hours available - M - F between hours of 7:45 -4:15.

Responsibilities:

·       Accurately transcribe patient records from hard copy to digital format

·       Calculate and balance financial data in Excel

·       Use critical analysis skills to solve problems and fill in gaps in the dataset

·       Update and maintain TCAP's extensive client database

·       Actively promote spay and neuter and educate others on responsible ownership

·       Represent TCAP in a professional and courteous manner at all times

·       Utilize in-office phone system to call clients when appropriate

·       Assist the administrative team in other duties as assigned

High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

Customer service and/or office experience in a fast-paced environment preferred. Previous data entry experience is a plus.

·         Must be able to communicate effectively with clients when applicable.

·         Must enjoy problem-solving.

·         Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
