Job description

This role will be in direct support of the Director of Surgical Quality and will also supports two National data programs overseen by the American College of Surgeons: The National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (NSQIP) and the National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC), and clinical trials within the Department of Surgery at Fox Chase Cancer Center-Temple Health.  The Data Manager will:
  • Literature search/review - Search and review literature in pertinent areas preparing written reports as necessary.   
  • Photocopy, organize, and maintain journal articles accurate
  • Data Analysis - Assist with data analysis, such as data cleaning and interview transcription. 
  • Be responsible for overall coordination of the clinical trial activities. 
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the study team, sponsor, CROs, finance, subcontractors, including team meeting
  • Ensure the integrity of assigned databases as well as accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
