You will be expected to develop deep expertise in emerging analytics and AI capabilities, understand how they work, assess their applicability to Simplot's business challenges, and distinguish between meaningful opportunities and technology hype. Success in this role requires persistence, experimentation, and a strong ability to translate new technology into practical business applications.Key ResponsibilitiesHelp business usersdefine and properly scopeuse cases and determineappropriate technologies, including Power BI, Fabric, Copilot, Power Platform, Dataverse, and related solutions. Provide hands-on guidance and co-development support for self-service analytics and AI solutions (e.g., Microsoft Copilot agents, Power BI reporting). Coach business users on approved architecture patterns, standards, and solution limitations or risks. Help develop training materials, examples, and reusable learning resources. Deliver workshops, demonstrations, office hours, and enablement sessions. Measure adoption, gather feedback, and identify opportunities to improve user success. Research, explore, and assess practical business use cases for emerging AI and analytics technologies. Facilitate AI solution risk assessments and governance reviews as needed in partnership with Information Security, Legal, Procurement, and business stakeholders. Assist solution owners in understanding and applying AI governance standards, policies, and required controls.Typical EducationBachelor'sdegreerequired.Equivalent education and experience may be considered. Relevant Experience8+ years ofrelevantexperiencedeveloping analytics, reporting, automation, application, or AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Databricks, or similartechnologies. Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
