Role: Business Systems Analyst

The Firm:

The Role:
Candidates must be excellent analytical thinkers, problem solvers, and effective communicators. They must also have exceptional written and oral communication abilities. Leadership, initiative, and advanced technical skills are integral.



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement and automation, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Performing requirements analysis.
  • Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
  • Acting as a liaison between developers/software providers and end users to ensure technical compatibility and satisfaction.
  • Analyzing data, developing reports and dashboards.
  • Performing quality assurance and user acceptance testing.
  • Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures.
  • Implementing, integrating, and maintaining information systems.
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
Desired Skills / Experience:
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL
  • Advanced data analysis skills
  • Experience in SSRS, PowerBI, Power Query, Python preferred
  • Data warehousing and architecture
  • Cloud experience; AWS, Azure, M365
  • Detail-oriented, analytical and inquisitive
  • Ability to work independently and with others
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science or a similar field from an accredited college or university.
  • At least 5 years of applicable work experience
