Darke County Maintenance TechnicianMiami Valley Community Action Partnership (MVCAP)Greenville, OhioPay Rate$19.00 per hourAnnual Salary: Approximately $39,520 per yearScheduleFull-Time | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PMOn-Call Requirement: This position is required to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergency maintenance situations outside of normal business hours when needed.Join Our Team!Miami Valley Community Action Partnership (MVCAP) is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support our facilities and housing programs throughout Darke County. This position plays a vital role in maintaining safe, clean, and functional environments for the individuals and families we serve.If you enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and making a positive impact in your community, we encourage you to apply.What You'll DoPerform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance repairs.Complete custodial duties to maintain clean, safe, and sanitary facilities.Respond to and complete maintenance work orders.Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems and safety equipment.Assist with grounds maintenance, landscaping, and snow removal.Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory.Utilize email and electronic work order systems to receive assignments and document completed work.Coordinate with supervisors and contractors regarding repair needs.Respond to emergency maintenance issues as needed, including after-hours situations.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Experience in building maintenance, custodial services, property management, construction, or a related field preferred.Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building repairs.Computer skills required, including the ability to use email, electronic work order systems, and basic Microsoft Office applications.Valid Ohio Driver's License required.Must have reliable transportation and maintain insurability under agency insurance guidelines.Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.Why Join MVCAP?MVCAP is a mission-driven organization dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve self-sufficiency and improve their quality of life.
