THE ROLE

As the Office Assistant, your primary responsibility is to ensure a welcoming and efficient environment for CAF (Canadian Armed Forces) members and their families. This role encompasses a variety of tasks aimed at facilitating smooth operations and excellent service delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS

Competencies

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership

RESPONSIBILITIES

Help with answering the phone and directing calls and booking appointments.

Help with filing - electronic and physical.

Maintain inventory of office supplies and order supplies as required.

Distribute incoming mail.

Work on special projects to assist the Investment Advisors, the Financial Counselors, and the Insurance Representatives.

Support various events, briefings, and kiosks as required.

Perform clerical duties - Including mapping out the Centres of Influence for the various units on base and identifying the points of contact.

Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

This is an on-site position with an assigned work location. The employee must be able to work 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday-Friday.
