Your Role

As a Laundry Attendant, you'll operate commercial laundry equipment, wash and dry linens, and maintain a clean and safe laundry environment. You'll follow safety and sanitation procedures while supporting the housekeeping team to ensure linen quality, availability, and readiness. This role is ideal for someone who brings Grit to every shift, works Stronger Together with the team, and takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality results. 

What You'll Do

  • Sort, wash, dry, fold, iron, and store linens, towels, and other hotel laundry
  • Follow stain treatment procedures and monitor the quality of finished items
  • Maintain appropriate levels of laundry chemicals; notify supervisor when supplies are low
  • Ensure equipment is cleaned daily and maintained in safe operating condition
  • Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to leadership immediately
  • Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area and linen storage areas
  • Follow OSHA guidelines, including blood-borne pathogen protocols when handling solid items
  • Assist with special projects such as room linen changes, curtain replacement, or inventory
  • Support housekeepers and housepersons as need (e.g., collect soiled linen, restock closets, etc.)
  • Greet and acknowledge guests in a courteous manner when in public areas
  • Adhere to all Resolute Road Hospitality policies and cleanliness standards
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Familiarity with commercial laundry procedures, safety practices, and chemical handling
  • Ability to safely operate laundry equipment (washers, dryers, irons)
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and consistency
  • Strong work ethic and ability to perform tasks independently
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks in a warm environment
  • Team-oriented mindset and willingness to support multiple departments when needed

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous laundry or housekeeping experience in a hospitality setting is a plus
