Overview
Manufacturing Solutions, Inc. (MSI) is seeking an Assistant Controller to support day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. This is a hands-on role focused on day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting, supporting the Controller, with a strong preference for candidates who have manufacturing or cost accounting experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
  • Maintain general ledger accuracy and support financial reporting
  • Analyze inventory, job costing, and variances
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation
  • Help maintain internal controls and improve accounting processes
  • Partner with operations to ensure financial accuracy across departments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3–7 years of accounting experience
  • Manufacturing or cost accounting experience preferred
  • Strong GAAP knowledge and Excel skills
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
