Truck Country is looking for an Assistant Controller to join our corporate accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys leading a team, improving processes, and partnering with operations to drive financial success.
What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team
  • Manage daily accounting operations and month-end close
  • Prepare financial statements, budgets, and shareholder reports
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and accounting best practices
  • Review fixed assets, sales tax filings, and inventory reconciliations
  • Support payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and dealership accounting teams
  • Help improve accounting systems, processes, and technology
  • Oversee company fuel card program and manager bonus calculations
