Sales Consultant - Martin Wine Cellar

Sales Consultant Responsibilities:

  • Engage all retail customers with the goal of increasing sales and store foot traffic
  • Build a solid working knowledge of the company portfolio
  • Understand our computer system operations in order to fully assist customers
  • Active participation in wine and spirit programming to achieve key performance objectives
  • Plan and execute store tastings and events
  • Assist in opening or closing the store, including fiscal balancing duties

Sales Consultant Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience: Wine knowledge required; 2 years of related experience in sales and management within the wine industry preferred
  • Licenses/Certifications: Responsible Vendor Card required (may be obtained after hire); wine certification preferred
  • Skills: Exceptional customer service, proficient in PC/Windows, data entry, cash register operations
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
