Under general supervision of the E-Learning Administrator, a UCVirtual teacher will plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program in a blended learning environment for students. The teacher will routinely visit local high schools, providing guidance and encouragement, to assist students in the development and fulfillment of their academic goals. This position will also facilitate an online classroom environment that is conducive to learning, and appropriate to the maturity and interest of students.
JOB DETAILS:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver educational lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning by visiting high school distant learning labs on a rotating schedule.
  • Develop course materials and content that utilizes the EmpowerED teaching framework.
  • Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, projects, and other appropriate activities in furtherance of curriculum goals
  • Evaluate student progress and development to address individual needs
  • Provide Supervision of students for the purpose of providing a safe and positive learning environment
