Overview

Compensation: $85,000.00 to $95,000

The Institute of Utility Security and Resilience (IUSR) seeks an assistant to support data transfer, analysis, presentation, and governance for the Full-Scale Pavement testing effort. The role coordinates with research staff to develop rational database structures and programs using database software, programming languages, and data presentation tools. The position is located on-site at the Pavement Research Unit of the FDOT State Materials Office in Gainesville, FL.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain database systems and analytical tools and technologies.
  • Create interactive data visualization and reporting tools.
  • Document and implement data governance practices and procedures.
  • Integrate artificial intelligence techniques into data analysis.
  • Support automated reporting and data analysis processes.
  • Implement and continually develop new technologies and infrastructure to improve pavement data collection, processing, analysis, and reporting.
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in a relevant field; graduate degree preferred.
  • Relevant work experience; research experience beneficial.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships across the Full-Scale Pavement Testing Program and the State Materials Office.
