Job Title: IT Technician

Job Summary:

An IT Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting computer hardware, software, networks, and IT systems. They provide technical assistance to users and ensure the organization's technology infrastructure operates efficiently and securely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, printers, and peripheral devices.
  • Provide technical support to employees and resolve IT-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system problems.
  • Set up and manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
  • Monitor and maintain network performance and security.
  • Perform system updates, patches, and backups.
  • Document support tickets, solutions, and system configurations.
  • Configure and support Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, and other business applications.
  • Assist with IT asset management, inventory tracking, and equipment deployment.
  • Support cybersecurity initiatives and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff or vendors when necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications
