Job description

We are a digital media company built on unique personalities linked by their passions and strong opinions on sports and pop culture. We are committed to producing the best content from the biggest names in their respective fields.
We are seeking a passionate and eager-to-learn Associate Producer to assist with the management of The Volume's network of YouTube channels with a specific focus on entertainment and comedy. This person should have basic video editing and photoshop skills, and will also help us create a positive, collaborative work environment.
This position is remote with options for contractor/freelancer opportunities.
What You'll Do:
  • Produce dynamic YouTube thumbnails for a large digital audience
  • Write captivating titles and descriptions to drive viewership to Volume show content
  • Edit full show episodes and breakout segments for quick turnaround for YouTube and daily population of the channel
  • Edit vertical short-form content for distribution across social platforms
  • Potentially act as fill-in for lead producer if shooting or editing is needed
  • Curate and maintain YouTube shorts and community pages
  • Work in coordination with show producers and digital department leads to craft channel strategy and style

Who You Are:
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience required
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud with a focus on Premiere Pro and Photoshop is required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all work produced
  • Ability to shoot an interview is preferred
  • Reality TV and pop-culture knowledge required
