Job Description Summary

A Controls Tech will diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical equipment. Assist with project related design, installation, and commissioning of controls systems.

Job Description:

Job Duties

Assist with troubleshooting and repair of down equipment.

Ability to navigate ladder logic. Allen Bradley and Siemens.

Ability to work with 24 DC to 480 volts AC.

Ability to use test equipment such as a multi-meter, megger, phase rotation meter, and oscilloscope.

Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.

Ability and knowledge to troubleshoot and repair electrical problems of CNC mills, lathes, shapers, and forge press controls.

Ability to learn Keyence laser software and 2D barcode software to make adjustments.

Familiarity with Fanuc or Nachi robots for recovery, point adjustment and program change.

Understand some aspects of project related design, installation, and commissioning.

Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits / equipment.

Assist with general parts research, as necessary.

Analyzes and resolves machine and conveyor problems.

Establishes or adjusts work processes to meet production schedules.

Resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Able to drive a forklift, scissor lift / articulating arm boom truck.

Work with Engineering on any process and 10 foot circle improvement.

Other duties as assigned by your manager.
