Position Summary
The High School Assistant Coach supports the Head Coach in delivering a comprehensive interscholastic athletic program. The position focuses on skill progression, competitive readiness, academic accountability, and student development while reinforcing district and OSAA expectations.
Essential Responsibilities
Professional Conduct and Collaboration
  • Works cooperatively with the Head Coach and athletic staff
  • Attends required athletic meetings, events, and trainings
  • Maintains professional sideline conduct and appearance
  • Communicates appropriately with parents, athletes, and staff

Coaching Responsibilities
  • Assists with planning and conducting practices and competitions
